Our daily habits have a direct effect on our body. People who don’t exercise in their free time often don’t move around enough in their daily lives either. We sit too much or spend too much time in forward-leaning postures, and our muscles adapt to these circumstances. They contract like an old collapsible telescope that rusts if it isn’t used, and at some point it can’t be opened up anymore. For example, constantly sitting exerts a one-sided burden on our neck muscles and they harden up – muscle tension and discomfort are the result.

A strong muscular system stabilizes our body and ensures a natural, healthy posture. Well developed, flexible muscles additionally provide relief to our joints by doing things like mitigating the impact of knocks or jumps.
